Travel Bee: reviews & investigation

By Yury Mosha Published: February 3, 2026 Updated: February 7, 2026 ★ 1/5 ⚠ HIGH RISK

Travel Bee claims 25 years in the Ukrainian tourism market and 30,000 satisfied clients. Sounds good on paper. But we found zero independent reviews on any platform, six years of missing regulatory reports, and two years without the financial guarantee required by law. Let's check.

Travel Bee review: investigation into the Ukrainian tour operator, client feedback, and risk analysis
How we researched this: We checked Ukraine's state business registry (EDRPOU), the Ministry of Economy tour operator license registry, WHOIS records for the domain, the Ukrainian court registry for case history, web archive snapshots, and multiple independent review platforms (Trustpilot, Google Maps, otzyvua.net, otzovik.com, scamadviser.com). All facts are linked to their sources. This review reflects data available as of February 2026.
Heads up: There is a separate British company called Travelbee Ltd (travelbee.co.uk) and a Georgian operator also named Travel Bee (travelbee.ge). This review covers only the Ukrainian company at travelbee.com.ua, based in Kyiv.

Who is Travel Bee and what do they offer

Legal entity: LLC "Podorozh Bdzholy" (Ukrainian: ТОВ "ПОДОРОЖ БДЖОЛИ")

Services: Package tours, beach holidays, ski trips, safari, honeymoon travel, corporate events, weekend getaways

Founded: Claims 1998 (domain registered April 2003, per WHOIS)

License: Tour operator license #505399, reportedly issued February 12, 2010

Location: Esplanadna St. 32, office 1, Kyiv, Ukraine

Phone: +380 44 492 02 49, +380 67 506 32 33

Email: [email protected]

Website: travelbee.com.ua

Pricing: Fully dynamic. No public price list. Packages reportedly from $300, quoted per request.

Key fact: The company's corporate contact is a personal Gmail address ([email protected]). For an operator claiming 25 years of business and tens of thousands of clients, that's an unusual choice (which, honestly, raises questions).

Travel Bee risk analysis: 5 things to know

Area Risk What we found What to expect
Price medium No public price list. Packages reportedly start around $300 but all quotes are given individually by consultants. Final pricing is confirmed only in a signed contract. The verbal quote and the contract amount may differ. Get the final price in writing before any transfer.
Contract high The public offer contract requires 100% payment at booking confirmation. It also includes a clause stating that Travel Bee bears no liability for services "not meeting unjustified expectations and subjective client assessment." If the trip doesn't match what was described verbally, the contract gives you limited legal standing. Read every clause before signing.
Timelines medium No published data on booking confirmation windows, document delivery timelines, or service milestones. Everything is handled through individual consultant communication. Ask for written confirmation of all key dates and deadlines before paying. Don't rely on verbal assurances.
Risks high Travel Bee failed to file mandatory statistical reports with the regulator from 2015 through 2021 (six consecutive years). The required financial guarantee (20,000 euros) was absent from registries in 2016 and 2017. Three conflicting EDRPOU codes exist in state databases. Regulatory gaps mean reduced state oversight of client funds. If the company shuts down mid-booking, your path to recovery is unclear.
Refunds high Refunds are mentioned in the FAQ only for cancellations due to medical emergencies, with supporting documentation required. No clear public policy exists for company-initiated cancellations or force majeure scenarios. Getting money back will require formal documentation. Budget for a possible dispute process if plans change.

Travel Bee: red flags and green lights

✅ Registered legal entity. LLC "Podorozh Bdzholy" is a real company registered in Ukraine's state registry, not a shell name with no paper trail.
✅ Tour operator license on record since 2010. Travel Bee holds (or held) a license from Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, meaning the state recognized them as a tour operator at least at the point of issuance.
✅ Physical office at a real Kyiv address. Esplanadna St. 32 is a genuine business center in central Kyiv. The office is verifiable by visiting or calling ahead.
✅ No criminal cases or fraud complaints found. A search of the Ukrainian court registry produced zero criminal proceedings and zero client fraud complaints against the company.
✅ Not listed in fraud databases. Searches of baxov.net, scamadviser.com, moshennik.eu, plohotron.online, and proverj.com returned no mentions of Travel Bee as a confirmed scam operation.
⚠️ Three conflicting EDRPOU codes. State registries show three different registration codes (30177891, 36886904, 38894140) linked to the same company name. Ukrainian law assigns one permanent code per legal entity. This discrepancy makes pre-payment verification significantly harder.
⚠️ Zero independent reviews despite 30,000 claimed clients. Not a single rating or comment appears on Google Maps, Trustpilot, otzyvua.net, otzovik.com, or any other major aggregator. For a company claiming 25 years and tens of thousands of satisfied clients, this is deeply unusual.
⚠️ Corporate contact is a personal Gmail. The company's primary email ([email protected]) is a personal free account. A 25-year-old operator with a dedicated website has no reason not to use a company domain email.
⚠️ Contract disclaims liability for "unmet expectations." The public offer agreement contains a clause releasing Travel Bee from responsibility if services don't match a client's "unjustified expectations and subjective assessment." That clause can override almost any verbal promise made during a sales call.
❌ No mandatory statistical reports filed for six years (2015-2021). Ukraine's Ministry of Economy requires all licensed tour operators to submit annual statistical reports. Travel Bee stopped filing them in 2015 and didn't resume until 2021. That's six years of operating outside normal regulatory oversight.
❌ Financial guarantee absent from registries in 2016 and 2017. Ukrainian law requires tour operators to maintain an active bank guarantee of at least 20,000 euros to protect clients. Travel Bee's guarantee was missing from official registries for two years. Clients who booked during those years had no formal financial protection.
❌ 100% upfront payment with no clear refund path. Full payment at booking is required per the contract. Combined with the "unmet expectations" disclaimer and the history of absent financial guarantee, this leaves clients with very little recourse if something goes wrong.

What to check before paying Travel Bee

Frequently asked questions about Travel Bee

Is Travel Bee a legitimate company in Ukraine?

Travel Bee appears to be a registered legal entity in Ukraine (LLC Podorozh Bdzholy) with a tour operator license on record since 2010. But three conflicting EDRPOU codes in state registries and six years of missing regulatory filings raise serious questions about ongoing compliance. "Registered" and "fully compliant" are two different things.

Why does Travel Bee have zero independent reviews despite claiming 30,000 clients?

This is the central question in our investigation. We searched Google Maps, Trustpilot, otzyvua.net, otzovik.com, and several other platforms. Nothing. The company website carries testimonials, but none are verifiable through external sources. A 25-year operator with tens of thousands of claimed clients doesn't just have no reviews. Something is preventing them from appearing, and we don't know what.

Is the 100% upfront payment requirement dangerous?

Full payment at booking is standard practice in the travel industry. The danger here comes from the combination: 100% upfront payment, plus a contract clause disclaiming liability for "unmet expectations," plus a history of absent financial guarantee, plus zero independent reviews. Any one of those alone is manageable. All four together is a different situation.

Did Travel Bee violate its license conditions?

Yes. According to Ukraine's Ministry of Economy license registry, Travel Bee failed to submit mandatory annual statistical reports from 2015 through 2021 (six consecutive years). The required financial guarantee was also absent from registries in 2016 and 2017. Both are violations of Ukrainian tour operator licensing conditions.

How do I verify Travel Bee's current financial guarantee before booking?

Ask the company directly for a current bank guarantee certificate. Every licensed Ukrainian tour operator must hold an active bank guarantee of at least 20,000 euros. Travel Bee must be able to produce this document on request. If they hesitate or claim it's not necessary, that's your signal to stop the process and seek another operator.

Has Travel Bee ever been sued for fraud?

No criminal cases or fraud complaints from clients were found in Ukrainian court registries. The company appears in cases #910/2136/13, #816/1122/16, and #910/18810/16 as a third party in commercial proceedings. None of those cases involve client fraud. That's the strongest piece of evidence in Travel Bee's favor.

Where can I leave a review about Travel Bee?

You can share your experience with Travel Bee on migration.us.com and on proverj.com, which collects independent reviews about companies operating in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Your review, positive or negative, helps other travelers make informed decisions before paying.

Expert verdict on Travel Bee

I've been in the travel and immigration business since 2011. In that time I've reviewed hundreds of operators across Ukraine, Russia, and the post-Soviet region. Travel Bee's profile stands out, and not for good reasons.

The number that sticks with me is 30,000. That's how many clients Travel Bee says it has served over 25 years. Thirty thousand people. And yet when you search for their name on Google Maps, Trustpilot, otzyvua.net, or any independent aggregator, you get nothing. Not one rating. Not one comment. That's not modesty. That's a gap I can't explain with any charitable interpretation.

What concerns me more is the regulatory record. Not filing mandatory annual reports for six straight years (2015 through 2021) isn't a clerical mistake. That's a sustained pattern of operating outside normal state oversight. And the missing financial guarantee in 2016 and 2017 means that during those years, clients had zero formal protection if Travel Bee failed to deliver. Zero. The guarantee is exactly what exists to protect you in that scenario.

The three conflicting EDRPOU codes add another layer. One legal entity gets one code under Ukrainian law. Three codes pointing to the same company name is worth investigating further before you sign anything.

On the positive side: the company is registered, holds a license (however historically inconsistent its compliance has been), has a real office in central Kyiv, and I found no criminal cases or client fraud complaints anywhere. That matters. They're not confirmed fraudsters.

But here's the thing. "No confirmed fraud" and "safe to send your full payment to" are two very different standards. Given the 100% upfront payment requirement, the contract clause disclaiming liability for unmet expectations, the history of regulatory gaps, and the complete absence of any independent client reviews, I would not book with Travel Bee until you've verified their current financial guarantee certificate in person. Not over the phone. Not by screenshot. In person.

If you can't get that document, use a different operator. JoinUP!, Coral Travel, and even self-booking through Booking.com all offer more transparency and more protection than what this investigation found at Travel Bee.
